Let God Use Your Family’s Imperfections

Broken and Blessed
How God Used One Imperfect Family to Change the World
Jessica LaGrone

Every family since the beginning of time has been both broken and blessed. In this six-week study, Jessica LaGrone takes us on a journey through Genesis, a book that tells the story of one perfectly imperfect family—from Adam and Eve all the way to Joseph and his brothers. Despite their brokenness, God chose to love and bless this family so that they might be a blessing. As we get to know each generation, noting both the good and bad traits that were passed down, we will see that God worked for good in their lives for the good of the world. And we will see that God wants to do the same in our own imperfect families today, bringing blessing from brokenness.

Whether you’re single, married, or divorced—with or without children or grandchildren—you have an important job to play as part of God’s family.

Components of the study include:
• Participant Book
• Leader Guide
• DVD (with 7 video segments)
• Preview Book
• Kit (Contains one each of the above)

Jessica LaGrone is Associate Pastor at The Woodlands United Methodist Church in The Woodlands, Texas. An acclaimed preacher, teacher, and author, whose works include her Bible study Namesake: When God Rewrites Your Story, Jessica enjoys speaking at retreats and events at churches throughout the country.
